CFHC DSG coolant route?

Featured Replies

Hi, I'm having issue with coolant temperature not getting up to temp on 2.0 TDI CFHC with DSG, I looked at factory service guide and coolant diagram there is just madness to my eyes.

From the diagnostics - engine coolant is about 50, dsg about 40 C. From the service guide I see there are two thermostat/thermoregulators - one for engine (i guess) and for DSG.

So does coolant first pass trough engine or DSG?

Either stat can cause over-cooling but the DSG stat is much easier to change so I'd start with that.

Example of the DSG stat on a Yeti but it should be similar to your car:

Plenty of write ups on Superb 2 forum. I also did mine and cured temperature needle temperament. Ordered from Germany too Mahle branded very cheap from Autodoc.
