I'm new here after 30 years of VAG.  I've just bought a 2016 Superb L&K hatch, and so far am really impressed with it.  One query though: I've downloaded Skoda Connect, but when I put my VIN in it says that "the car doesn't supported Skoda Connect services".  It has the Columbus radio/Nav system and my iphone X connects by bluetooth and also by charger lead through the usb.  The car is pretty well loaded so it seems odd that an extra like this wouldn't have been included.  I've tried the Skoda update portal, but when I try to put the car details in, it doesn't give you an option pre-2017.

I think Connect only appeared on later models. My 2016 L&K doesn't have it either.

Ok, thanks.  I thought that might be the case.

I wouldn't worry, it's pretty pants.

 

Glitchy, lack of useful features, expensive subscription fees and it is down more often than it is available.
