Infotainment system clock.

Featured Replies

Has anyone else had this where you start the car and the clock is showing 00:00 and the date is showing 01.01.13?

I've had this several times now and it doesn't correct itself, until I start prodding around in the Time and Date settings, when mysteriously it then corrects itself!

Is there a new firmware update for the infotainment system that Garland's can apply when they have it for two days?

TIA.

Yes I’ve had this several times. I just untick then restock the box to allow GPS To set the time and its fixed. I could go back to the dealer but my lease is up in June and I can’t be bothered.

I tried that and it didn't work, IIRC it was uncheck the Automatic Summertime setting that corrected it.

I've made a note of it, the infotainment system has lots of issues with optical bus failures etc on it, so they can do what they like with it. Put the fecking thing in a crusher for what it's worth.

Yep, same here!
Sometimes it will correct itself, other times it doesn’t and I have to do it manually.
Even thought the GPS is working i.e the Nav knows where you are and is following you, it doesn’t update the time.

I'm glad to know that I'm not going mad and thinking that I'm the only one who is getting glitches it it. 🤓

On a - possibly - related note, my GPS would not connect at all on my 45 min drive home this evening. Not that it matters, I use Apple Maps. Still; it’s another wee funny.

I thought all 3 of my trip computers resetting at same time was a glitch with the dashboard, but in hindsight the Skoda start screen comes on the headunit then it goes black for a few seconds then Skoda logo again so my guess is it’s the infotainment rebooting so yes that’s 3 times mine has done it in a month.
