Colour Maxidot

Featured Replies

I have a 2016 Octavia Scout.

The info given says it has, Colour Maxidot, I've looked at the handbook but can only find in the car, how to turn the brightness up or down.

Am i missing something, or does my car not have colour?

Post a picture of the display behind the steering wheel and you'll soon get a definitive answer

Mines a colour one but I think most stuff is in black and white anyway, lol

From memory I think I can only recall green arrows on navigation.

Not really sure it being colour adds anything significant.

Blue ice symbols when it's below 5 Celsius, plus a green symbol when ACC is turned on and a big red symbol when the Front Assist 'cries alert'.

It has a greater pixel density over the black and white version as well.

Yep, all of those too.

You know, the really important stuff that affects the driving experience.

Just been out in the car.

Silver compass.

Green N.

Silver car.

Red rear lights.

So I guess, yes it's "coloured ".

Was hoping it would change the dial's to a different colour, will have to wait for some well known sweet papers to put in front of the dial, or, stick them inside my glasses.

Colour maxidot - the clue's in the name :giggle:

I think the colour maxidot is more worthwhile if you have the built in satnav. I'm quite happy with the black and white on mine.

Are, so the sat nav is part of things, thats very colourful.

Do you think people are starting to realise I've not had anything "MAXY" in my cars before. :nerd:

Have just watched a video of a non colour Maxidot.

I now get it, case closed 🔐
