Digital speedo readout?

Featured Replies

I drive the wife’s 62 plate Citigo now and then which has the PID unit.

I struggle trying to see the speedo accurately (30MPH); especially as 30mph is not even marked with a number or highlighted in any way, it is somewhere in amongst lots of white markers between the 20 & 40mph. At a glance I find myself having to look for too long to check this.

All other modern vehicles I drive these days have the option of a digital readout, which is so instant.

Are there any known ways of getting a digital readout; PID perhaps with coding?

Or is it get a crappy nail vanish line painted on the outer clock glass and hope it’s close?

The cheapest way is probably to use your mobile phone? Download a car app with the info you want to see - thousands to choose from.

Old post, but there is a digital speedometer on my 2013 model which can be activated by flicking through the pages on the MFD on the dashboard itself.
