Crystal Black ?

Featured Replies

Ok always had magic black before but, what is this crystal black the stealers want SO much more money for ?

Anyone thinks it's worth it?

Anyone got it ?

Tony it's originally an Audi colour if you type Audi Crystal Black into Google you will see in bright sunshine it has a purple flake, rather than the metallic flake of Black Magic Pearl.;)

I've seen both in the flesh, Crystal black is definitely not worth £400 more than the £595 Black Magic Pearl.

Pearlescent black is sparkly black, regardless of the colour of the flecks you put in it.

Crystal black doesn't appear to be currently available on the Octavia though.

It costs about £1,600 extra on an Audi RS6.;)

There's a rumor that pearl paint reduces fuel consumption, increases max speed, and makes you feel better when your car is scratched in a mall parking lot 😎
