My guess would be that there isn't a ready available twin scroll turbo compatible with this engine without paying a fortune for what in reality wouldn't be a massive gain in performance, maybe 5% if lucky. In my opinion twin scroll is more adapted to a race setup rather than "street".

Cant wait to see the graph either, Are we going for the  500 bhp as I know Voltan's made 480 bhp?

 Exactly mate!!

twin scroll big turbo not have good respond for 1400 liter engine.
we are lucky that we have supercharger also. Otherwise big turbo doesn’t spool up.

Td-05-20g turbo (mine) spools up from 5400 rpm to 7100.

We are looking for a good dyno now. Our target is same as volkan’s setup. 480 hp on wheels.

you may watch my rollrace with cla45 amg.

At beginning cla goes first. Then Turbo spools up and I pass him.

Yeah,  The only problem with our supercharger it uses maximum torque from start to finish, there isn't room to squeeze out any more power In the low rpm range.

I never realised it took that long for the turbo to spool up, I thought it would be around 3500 rpm? when that turbo kicks in though...….What a feeling that must be:muscle:

Surely a 10% reduction in supercharger pulley would give you a gain of some sort ?

Also ruff you got a link to what s3 injectors you used with what spray pattern and what gold r valve springs you used im looking at stiffening my valve springs

I use 2008/2009 8P audi S3 fuel injectors,

Valve springs golf 7R 2012.

I seen you mentioned it in your build But I've never seen the option of a reduced supercharger pulley? I didn't think it was possible as it was a unique Eaton M24 charger VW produced, Rather than the usual M45 and from my thinking a smaller pulley would require a smaller belt?

I’ve still got the smaller pulley mate it’s just a massive job to do so haven’t got round to it , the belt is on a tensioner so the original belt will still work , as you can see there’s a comparison side by side original vs 10% reduction 83BA2622-2837-44FC-8136-DB917C907525.thumb.jpeg.1af2862e9f9666b90b5f0ca7bbd0c717.jpeg

Nice one mate, It’s such a small pulley in the first place as you’ll have noticed.Did you have that made?

If you went balls out you could fit a twin screw charger (would be some effort) or just get rid of the charger completely, I’m sure RTMG’s drag cars have deleted the supercharger.

Yea I got a prototype made mate as if the gains are good I’m going to start selling it as a kit with the tensioning tool , so when people’s water pumps fail they can do the change at the same time , I think the way to go balls out on this engine is to be forward thinking and go electronic Assisted supercharger , electronic assisted turbo then it really would be instant power

Sounds good mate, I read the charger can run to 14 psi , 12 psi hits about 250 degrees , Gets hot down there so my only worry would be heat issues.

Or do as Ruff has above and go full out

Ive followed his build and his friend Volkan’s for a while now and they guys have blew it out the water with these engines, Some the builds coming of Turkey/Greece are insane to what we have, I don’t think there’s any twincharged 1.4 tsi’s in the U.K. over 400bhp?
