Featured Replies

Hello,

I am about  to replace the battery on my Superb, Elegance, hatchback. 2.0 Auto.

What battery does the group recommend?

Varta E44 for me.

Drefaldwyn

Type 096 from ABS batteries on eBay if not stop start car. Next day delivery 3-4 year warranty.

are you stop/start? if yes you will require an agm battery

i just fitted a yuasa ybx9096 to mine, have to fudge the coding as yuasa dont use bem codes but all works fine

Yuasa YBX7027 12V 65AH 600A

This is a stop-start battery and will keep going for up to 270,000 engine starts.

This Yuasa YBX9027 12V 60AH 680A is even better than the YBX7027

Whatever battery that you get, check that the physical size will fit.

Yes - that type works for start/stop too. The EFB (enhanced flooded battery) is what Skoda fitted at production time on start/stop S2 cars.
