So as a personal lease car driver. I tend to use the preferential Termination  hand back. The dealer contacts VW finance and gets a price and if its good , the dealer buys my car gets me out of my deal early but I must stick with VW brand

Im 3 yrs at September this year  on a 4 yr deal and I think soon is the time to see what VW finance want and what the dealer can sell my car for. Hopefully VW say 12k and the dealer can sell at near 14k.

Anyway ,, I f I can do the deal and get out a year early as I did before . What car should I go for ?

Heres  the caveat that I have found , In Glasgow Arnold controls Audi, VW and Seat. I have found that Arnold doesn't like personal lease and favours other deals. Doesn't like preferential lease ending and would rather deal in PCP. This leaves me with Henrys Skoda who are happy to do pref termination of lease deal but only if I choose a Skoda as the next car.

Sorry if this is all confusing , my dry January pledge lasted till today

Hope the head is feeling ok this morning :D.

I'm guessing you will see a whole load of recommendations from people for the car they own. But on a more serious note, a bit of info would help.

What mileage do you do (petrol v diesel, 272 v 150 etc); how do you find the current ride (Sportline v L&K, DCC v standard chassis etc); do you like / want toys (L&K v SEL etc). Do you like / need the space (Superb v Octy etc). Give us that and then I will be able to justify in great detail why you should get a quartz grey 190 L&K :).

If you’re on a personal lease (PCH), then you must keep the car until the end of the agreed lease, otherwise you have to pay penalties / early termination fees (usually a percentage of the amount of payments owed, or all of it depending on the lease company).

Gone to beemur , u don't need to , I did preferential termination with my VRS . VW Finance give a price to clear , if that price is favourable , the dealer buys and gets me out of the lease as long as I take another VW lease on. In the case of my Octy VRS last time VW said £12500 to clear , the dealer was selling cars of that year at £14900 to £15500. The dealer bought my car and got me into the Superb in in now. I take it not a lot of folks know this , infact anyone can take on your lease or anyone can buy the car as long as they pay VW finance the clearance figure and the person takes another lease with VW group. Go google VW preferential termination.

To Freedom . 10k per year and I really want the new VRS but can I hang on that long or should I go for a Kodiak , Karoq sportline. I like my 190 dsg diesel power but as always would like more
