Rear disks

Featured Replies

I am just about to change the rear disks and pads on my kodiaq. This is usually a task that I do myself, but I have been told (in the local pub) that I will need to reset the auto hand brake and need the computer to do this. Does anyone know whether this is correct or not?

Thanks

David

Yep, I've changed discs and pads on all my previous Skoda's previously, however with the EPB (Electronic Parking Brake) when the time comes on the Kodiaq I'll be admitting defeat and letting the garage do it.

Thanks guys, I tried to look at the Manuel in the brake guide thread but the link to it is broken.
Dropping the car off to the local garage next week.

Ees okay; brakes are from Barcelona!! ;)

OBDEleven has the required app to release the electronic brake for servicing.
