Regular Bluetooth Disconnection

Featured Replies

Hi, Anybody else get this? Sometimes connected, sometimes not. When not connected the car says phone not found although I have it switched on and BT activated and the phone can't see the car BT either. Not as new device or previous connection. Most annoying. Manual not helping. Brand new 1.5 DSG Sportline and Android phone. Cheers

Hold the power button in on the infotainment system until it restarts, should pick the bluetooth up after that, my one does anyway.

Cheers

I've found mine sometimes says this if my wife is in the car with her phone.

Both phones are paired to the infotainment, so I guess you have to manually choose instead of a preference being able to be programmed. Annoying to be honest.

Yes this happens to me also and is extremely frustrating. The Skoda workshop couldnt figure out the problem and is instead blaming the phone (Samsung galaxy s9) which makes no sense since the error says the bluetooth system of the car itself isnt turned on. Have tried connected my phone via cable to use android auto at these times but the screen in the car freezes on the smartlink screen. Probably wont buy another skoda.

Is smartlink enabled?  Not used Bluetooth directly for some time as I use AA pretty much every time I get in the car.

Android auto usually works fine except for times when i get the "Bluetooth cannot be started message" .. at these times instead of smartlink giving me the option of android auto or apple carplay it just freezes on a smartlink screen with a few diagonal lines.

I normally have it plugged in for AA but when not plugged in Bluetooth works with no problems.

Try deleting the pairing from both phone and car, then pairing again.
