Mutt Motorcycles. Anyone any experience of them?

Featured Replies

Only spotted them because of a 125 on Goblin Works Garage. (which i watch with the sound off.)

Googled and found what they are.  I like the look very much.

£3700.

Looks like a proper bike, in fact it looks fantastic! It's got a laid back military kinda feel going on.

If it runs and rides as good as it looks...damn, you've triggered the old biker in me, bloody tempting...

Just be aware that these look good but are in fact a collection of Chinese made (Chinese quality) components. I very nearly bought a year old one for the wife but it was already looking mighty shabby.

If this is the sort of bike you fancy, have a look at a Honda CL400. Actually, £3700 is just about into Hinckley Triumph Bonneville territory.

CL250 looking like it was inspired by the SS50 for those old enough ...

Ahh, yes... Think of the melted trousers and burnt leg! Never been a fan of the high-up exhaust pipes!

They have a Mutt place near me. Some bits look nice, others iffy. Don't like the brown saddle for a start.

As for Chinese, they are set to own the world of motorcycles, like Japan did back in the late seventies/early eighties! The quality is coming along in leaps and bounds. An early Chinese imported by a farmer, in a crate (The machine, not the farmer) model of five years ago simply cannot compare with shop purchased ones now.
