Costco Michelin tyre offer still on.

Featured Replies

Off to get these fitted in the morning, I had to buy them from the Sheffield store in the week as stocks were low and I couldn't order any online. I was hoping to get them fitted but by the time got there they were busy, so the Derby store are fitting them for me.

Just last night parts of Derbyshire started to get our first snow of the year. So these and the offer price have just come in time.

Iirc the offer is on until just before the month end 👍

Not sure how these emojis got here below and I can't seem to be able to delete them.

Don't see any prices being advertised. Costco were doing some great deals during Black Friday week - those four tyres would have cost approx £275 inc. fitting.

The only thing I would say against Costco is a week or so ago, I gave my car it's first proper wash since the tyres were fitted ( I went for Goodyear All Weather - £235 inc fitting ) and I notice all four alloys are marked. Will have to take some polish to them before I know just how damaged they really are.

I now wish I had taken photos of my alloys immediately before handing the car over to them.

Do you have the factry default tyres on at the moment? Please update what you think of the All seasons. Both me and my passengers could tell the reduction in road noise before we'd even left Costco's cark park!

In all honesty I have a pair on the front at the moment, they were fitted last Jan, now having covered just over 23,000 miles on the front they are now ready for changing.

Thecar originally came with Dunlop sport max (the two on the back have been on for circa 42,000 miles) and I can't say I haven't noticed a difference in the road noise with the Michelin on the front and Dunlop on the rear. I'll make a point to listen out tomorrow, along with a look out for scratches. But in all honesty they were not scratched last time it went in to the Derby store. The car is spotless now as it's been washed today, so I know it's scratch free.

These should have been £398 fitted, but the offer knocked off £60 as they are 16"/17" size and all four being done at once.

Just out of interest, I called in to kwik fit tother week and they quoted £526 ish for the same Michelin cross climate tyres. Needless to say I turned around and walked out.

Just found the offer flyer and screenshot it.

Yep, absolutely bonkers some of the prices being quoted. With the Goodyears the best price I was quoted at the time was one of the online places ( blackcircles or mytyres or whatever ) at just over around £400 all inc. Their nearest partner fitting station to me was ATS Autocentre, so I called in there and asked them for a quote - £550. I could therefore have had the same tyres fitted at the same branch for over £150 cheaper ! Crazy.

Or drive thru to Glasgow and have them fitted for £235 at Costco whilst I filled myself up with free coffee and food at the various try-b-4-u-buy counters. Us Scots know how to have a cheap day out. :D

On the way back home we all noticed a marked difference in the road noise from the tyre's, now that all 4 have the cross climate+ tyre's fitted. Much quieter than before with the Dunlop's on the back.

No marks on the wheels either. 👍 Happy days 😁
