Having one an Octavia Mk11 from new (2005) I love my Skoda. I am looking to buy a Superb estate 66 plate SE technology TDI with 26000 on the clock. Currently advertised for £11800 One previous keeper and full Skoda history. Would you say this is a good deal/great deal/walkaway? If I do buy, what am I looking for at point of sale and future? I know there is loads of advice on here so thanks in advance.

Seems a very good price for that mileage, based on what's currently on Autotrader.   Is this from a dealer and if so, what warranty will be applied?  

 

Have you got proof of full service history, such as printouts?  Service records or all online now but you can ask a franchised dealer for a printout and/or just to confirm dates/mileage/work undertaken/etc.  Was the previous owner private, a company, a taxi firm? 

 

Has it had it's first MoT yet, if not when's it due? If it's had one, have you checked the details on https://www.gov.uk/check-mot-history   ?

 

Personally, if one isn't available from the seller then I always thinks it's worth a HPI check, some might also be available with different levels of mechanical inspection too, if you want to have any additional security/confidence. 

 

Then it's just a case of checking the usual things; mileage, interior/exterior panels, wheels, tyres, everything works in terms of functions/features/electrics.

Not sure if this is what you're looking for but I started a thread a while back in preparation for buying a used Superb to try to get myself a list of things to check when buying.....
