They "fill" the arches the same, but to the exact same extent as all the 17" ET38 7.5" wheels do

It is lowered.

But should look a little better with the right profile tyres on it.

Tints are on the list. As is a STAR bumper ;)

Very nice.......Now lower it.

Will have to see what it looks like with the correct tyres on it. Fingers crossed it will look better.

And Toseland - motorbike wheels dont count

Lookin very :pimp:mate.

Never been too keen of pics of the vrs on 18s before, but I think you'll pull it off nicely when you get the correct tyres on.

Great choice.

Just didn't look lowered....Did you drive the car after you fitted the wheels.

Suspension may not have settled down.

Very nice

Needs lowering though ;)

Sorry, was only intended as a  anyway.

I didnt even move the car with the wheels on, let alone drive it, so you are probably right! Also, the tyres are too "tall" too.

Will be posting fresh pics later in the week when the new tyres are on!:thumbup:

:P:rofl:

Thanks for all the positive comments everyone, I'm really pleased with them... as lots of you will know, I was dead against 18s, but to find some in only 7.5" wide in this condition at such a bargain price, well, they'll do for the summer!

Nice rims!

They look really good. I always thought I quite liked the std wheels but that first pic has put me right off them. Do you have 312 brakes though as the front disc looks a little puny now?

No, thats the std 288mm disk. I have 312s ready to go on, will still look pretty small though :thumbdwn:

Look cracking Tom - good buy

Steve

Nice wheels Tom!

Cracking rims

Needs lowering though.

When you put 215/35/18 it'll be 15 mm lower so it should look quite good.

When you put 215/35/18 it'll be 15 mm lower so it should look quite good.

Is that diameter difference, if so it should be halved.

damn lummox beat me to it

Look great and look forward to seeing pics once the correct tyres are on and it's been lowered.

So coilovers next on the cards ey? ;)
