Hi All

 

Drivers side mirror indicator is working but now and then flickers.

 

Passenger side mirror indicator not working at all. Also the heated mirror isn't working (I tested the connectors to the heated mirror and there was no power).

 

The main indicators all work fine.

 

Any ideas??

 

After further searching and speaking to the dealer, the indicator units are around £25 each.

 

I have ordered both. Hopefully that will fix the issues.

 

Anyone got any ideas for no power to the heated passenger side mirror? Is the a plug that could have come loose etc?

Check the wiring loom from the body into the doors. Possible broken wires.

common issue with the mirror indicators with age as I changed both of mine too after they became a bit dim after around 10 years of use

Got the mirror indicator issues sorted. Replaced the one that wasn't working with a new one but it still didn't work. 

 

Took the door card off and found a plug had come out. The heated mirror was also not working. Putting the plug back in (just below and left of the window motor) fixed power to the heated mirror and the indicator.

 

The drivers side mirror indicator was working but every few seconds it would flicker. Replaced with a new one and it's fine also.

 

Luckily no broken wiring to trace, just an unplugged connector.

 

MOT later this week so hopefully passes ok this time.
