Hi

I am upgrading the door speakers and will insulate the inner door skin and door card.

I was wondering about the outer door skin whether just Dynamat/Silent Coat is necessary or should I add a layer of dense closed foam like dodo

Probably Silent Coat will be good enaugh to take away “drum” effect, but i would put something more dense (i dont know quality of that dodo foam). For sure car will never bt Albert Hall but good insulation is making big difference even with original stereo....
