Wiring diagram for aircon

Featured Replies

Hi looking for some help with the wiring diagram for our 2011 Fabia 1.2 6v.

I have traced a fault to the connector plug for the air con compressor which is broken. The Plug on the wiring harness side is ok and all the wires are ok so I would like to repair it.

My problem is the Wires coming out of the compressor are a red and a black, but the wires they connect to are a green and a brown&white.

Does anyone have a wiring diagram they could check to see which way around this should connect ? I can then repair it.

According to the sticker it’s a CHFA engine code 44kw.

Thanks, hopefully !

Hi, I am unsure about the diagram but usually, most connecters only fit one way round. Is it not possible to eye this up and see which way it should fit?

Unfortunately not, believe me I’ve tried !
The plug has been broken on the compressor side and the red and black wires have come out.

The brown/white wire on pin 2 of the connector is earth so one would assume that is meant to connect to the black on the compressor valve, the green/black on pin 1 is the positive feed from the HVAC module (pin 15 of a 16-way connector there), so will go to the red wire of the compressor, I expect.

Thanks Wino. I’m very grateful for that information 👍
