Are there two sets of speakers in the rear doors?

Featured Replies

Hey,

I've had my Fabia monte carlo since new, 66 plate.

In the recent month I've felt music has sounded different but not sure if I'm imagining it.

It doesn't feel as full as before. If i fade to the rear it's very thin and only plays out of the large speakers at the bottom of the doors. At the front it plays out of the grill between the door release and mirror adjustment knob.

Should the rear speakers in the similar location play also?

Could it be the type of music you are playing not bringing in a particular group of speakers.

I used to have a test record to check out my hi fi speakers which was tracks of classical and

various pop/heavy metal. perhaps you could record a sensible variety and try your speaker

responses again.

It's pretty much the same music as before,  I'm using Android Auto, i don't know if that makes a difference but I've always used it so not sure it would.

I'm curious if there's four speakers in the rear doors or just two.

Bump...

Can noone confirm that there's two speakers in each rear door? I don't know if I'm just imagining things or potentially one set of speakers has died.

I don't know for sure, but I thought they only had 6 speakers... 2 in the rear, 2 fronts and 2 tweeters 🤔
