Audience radio mysteries

Featured Replies

2008 LHD Octavia Kombi 1.9TDi, DSG.

Car has audience stereo system with built-in cd changer. Display also shows  'Aux In' but there's no aux socket. Can one be fitted and how?

Radio has bluetooth but only for phone calls. Phone works with both iPhone and android but won't play music from either. Is there a fix?

Thanks for any help that may come my way

I thought this was going to be about the Greg James 'disappearance'.

Aux in may be round the back? I take it there are no remote aux points - centre console, glove box?

If it is not in the console or jumbo box it will be around back of unit and may require a connecting either a 3.5mm lead or multi block connector with aux in. I'm not familiar with the exact layout of the audience.

Hi

No input point in consolidating or glove box. Had unit out of car and no obvious input point on back either. But thanks for your comments

console - predictive text making a wrong guess again

From reading this after market product it seems you have to use the CD changer plug, at the back, if it has one.

Or research quadlock with aux in for audience. That is also how it was done on some other models, so possibly an option. There should be pin diagrams on back of unit. Camera phone is your friend...
