I so miss the Snowballs 😞 Still supporting the O'rangers though and have a soft spot for the Green Ducks (mainly because of their incessant quacking  )

Some good close racing but it is early days yet in the series to get an idea of teams relative speeds.

I will see how the race goes tomorrow before getting excited however I am not a fan of the Motocross format of that track.

It’s unconventional, but there again, the little round chaps and chapesses are a lot braver and adaptable than their F1 cousins.

I hope that any sand that they pick up does not hamper their cornering ability.

Clenintin had a mare. Going from third, to dead last 😞 I think he had a mechanical issue as he didn't seem to have any speed on the straights. On a positive note, there were some great camera angles, including a fab overhead shot from their helicopter.

Getting a clear fast run on the sand appeared crucial to a fast lap time. I wonder how they prepare themselves to get good grip on both "tarmac" and sand?

It looks to me like it's how they point themselves going into corners and how shiny they are when they start, that seems to be most crucial. Of course, bravery and aggression help too. I wonder if they will ever implement a deployable drag reduction system?
