Hello to all.

I am a new and delighted Karoq 1.5 TSI SE-L owner of advancing years and who relishes the comfort style of motoring rather than the foot-to-the-floor type. The Karoq suits me perfectly as I can easily get two cycles in the back, but have a very comfortable and plush ride four up when necessary.

 

I have been reading the forum posts since I took possession of the Karoq a couple of weeks ago, since when it has never stopped raining! (It rains for weeks every time I buy a new vehicle starting from when I was 21 years old and bought my first new motorcycle). Anyhow you lads and lasses appear to be a friendly bunch so I hope you will accept me into your ranks where I hope, with my engineering background I may be able to help with queries and of course learn more myself.

A warm welcome to the Forum ! Reminds me of when I bought my last brand new bike, BSA Rocket Gold Star in 1962.  Arrived in Jan 63 slap bang in the blizzards.  Didn't take it out until the following March.  I see the vicar in Gantchester rides one.  Shows my age😲

Thanks for the welcome. I never owned a Gold Star but I was a huge Velocette fan and thoroughly enjoyed my Venom.

Never rode a Venom but quite a lot of the water cooled LE and vogue.  The oldest had a hand change which took a bit of getting used to.  Happy days.
