Will Octavia alloys 16 inch fit a Fabia Elegance. 2014

Depends on the Octavia. The mk1 Octavia has 5x100 stud pattern, while the mk2 and mk3 are 5x112. The Fabia mk2 is 5x100.

You need to find out the specification of the alloy rims.

An example of a specification is as follows (this is just a made up example but shows all the details that you need):

6.5Jx16 ET50 5/112 57.1

In this example, 6.5J is the rim width in inches, 16 is the rim diameter in inches, ET50 is the offset in millimetre (ET means offset in German), 5 means the number of wheel bolts, 112 is the BCD (Bolt Circle Diameter) of those 5 wheel bolt holes, 57.1 means the centre bore or hub centre is 57.1mm.

Octavia tyres have much bigger outside diameters so won't fit the Fabia. New tyres would be needed in a Fabia size.

So the alloy rims will only fit if it's off a MK1 Octavia, not the later MK2 or MK3 Octavias. Even if it was off a MK1 Octavia, the rim width and the offset might not be ideal depending what the values are.

The tyre size on my Fabia are 205/45/16 and the octavia alloys are very similar at 205/55/16 so my tyres will certainly fit the octavia rims

205/45R16 needs at least a 6.5J wide rim.

If the rim is 6J, the lower profile 205/45R16 tyre won't fit.

All the 5/100 16" rims (3 styles) specified for the Octavia 1 are 6.5" wide.
