Infotainment screen - can you explain these logos?

Featured Replies

I have just taken delivery of a Fabia SEL and there are two logos on the info screen I am unsure of - can anyone tell me what the red ‘world’ symbol stands for and the little yellow circle attached to the ‘settings’ logo? More importantly can they be deleted somehow? I have attached a picture showing the logos circled. Thanks.

I don't think the yellow cog means anything, its just its colour?

Thanks confused cheese! Funnily enough my manual or my online download version does not show that on page 95 or anywhere else. No matter, you have sorted it for me and I am not going to bother renewing Connect so will just ignore it.

The little yellow cog looks like I should be checking something in Settings but you are probably right and it is just the colour it is.

Edit: I have just downloaded the 11.2019 version and all info on Connect is there. Thanks again confused cheese.

I see what you mean about the cog, was a genuine question from me but all the manual screens have it being yellow so is probably just that rather than indicating something. I have an earlier MK3 sel and the icons are all monochrome. Also, no connect features 🙈

I agree about the colour issue (issue?). I'm convinced our 16 plate had monochrome graphics but the 18 plate (pre FL) has colour including the second yellow cog on settings. I'll ask the new owner of the 16 plate when I remember. Neither have the online connect but I do see those logos on the Kodiaq.

Is this only on the newer cars. I've seen this on my 2015 Monte Carlo. Does the stereo need an update
