I decided to give my Fabia a wash this afternoon which is more difficult now what with the hose pipe ban. Had to resort to throwing a few buckets of water over it to rinse it down :thumbdwn:

When I came to open the bonnet to wipe out the bonnet shut area the handle snapped off in my hand! :eek: . I've always thought it needed a lot of effort to open it, stiff cable ?. I knew it would happen one day !. So now I can't open the bonnet :confused: anyone else had this problem ?.

I'll be making a trip to my dealer one day this week as it still has a little warranty left on it.

Has it actually snapped? Quite often you can refit it back on, then get the bonnet open and lubricate the catch.

Yes, it snapped off in my hand and appears broken to me.

Might be easier to find the cale down near the handle and pull it with some pliers. That worked for me when my lever broke.
