Had a quote today of £354 from a very professional-looking bodyshop.

Took the time to explain the process. The dent and paint crack are repaired and then sprayed with the colour coat in the region of the damage. But then the whole panel up the nearest shut line has to be sprayed in a clear coat so that the repair becomes invisible. In my case that means the whole rear quarter panel and the roof rail area from the back right along to the front. All for the sake of a tiny paint crack !!

I had another quote from mobile "chips away", strangely not mobile but anyway..... He said he could touch it up for £100 but you would be able to see it or to do it properly about £800 as he would have to do the undamaged door to blend in.

So I'm sure someone should be able to repair your door panel for a similar sort of price - the door panel has shut lines all around it so it's only that area that would need to be touched.
