Park pilot actives randomly / stays on

I've got a lovely Skoda Fabia Combi from 2017 and generally am very satisfied with it, but after being parked for about 16 days in the Scandinavia winter (less cold than normal) the parking sensor started going on and off last week while driving forward. Sometimes staying on, other times coming and going. It stops cruise control and lowers the radio (this part I can manage in settings). 

While reversing it works as normally, all three sensors working just fine, but when I drive forward it does not always leave park pilot.

Any ideas of how to fix this? I tried factory resetting the park pilot.
