Newbie both here and to SKODA

Featured Replies

Hello,

I have just entered the world of SKODA ownership and have to say I'm impressed. so impressed I bought one for SWMBO. To be fair SWMBO was the one that was impressed and wanted one for herself.

We are in Australia and shiver just at the thought of needing winter tyres. As such I imagine our posts are going to be related to hot weather issues. :)

For those that are wondering, SKODA has struggled to get a foothold in the Australian car market until fairly recently. The newer models and the association with VW and Audi has seen it become one of the fastest growing brands in Australia, all be it off a very low base.

As a result of the slow take up of SKODA you can get a lot of car for your money on the second hand market, which is where we sit at the moment.

We have a 2014 Superb diesel and a 2012 Octavia petrol. We have had them a couple of months and still think they are brilliant.
