Phone Holder

Featured Replies

Does anyone have the Brodit phone holder for their Kodiaq?

I've been looking at the lower mount and also the one for the Right hand side of the Columbus unit

Just wondering if anyone has the one near the columbus unit and how much it cuts off access to the screen (where back button etc is located)

Thanks

Can I ask why you need a phone mount in the Kodiaq, I was really hoping I wouldn't and would be able to just stick it in the cubby hole by the gear stick and use Androi Auto to do everything.

I use mine in my current car as the sat nav is rubbish so use Waze, but was planning on using Android Auto to run Waze on the Columbus screen when I get my Kodiaq, which is probably self isolating in Czech republic.

The brodit unit I have is on the center consul strut, I stuck a magnet onto that and my phone case has a metal insert that allows it to stick. Works very well and only reduces the airbag warning visibility.

I use a very short cable if I feel the need to connect the phone.

Does it not get in the way of the passenger legs?

I've always used a phone holder had the same brodit holder for years in 3 different cars. I just buy a new mount when I change car, it can clatter around a bit in the cubby hole

I use a Brodit clip together with a Unisynk holder with QI-charging in my Renault. Works perfect and no damage to the interior.

In my Kodiaq I use the phone box.

No, because I have it on my side and I just place the phone at a clockwise angle of about 30 degrees.
