AC problem...

Featured Replies

Hello everybidy..

dont know if anyone had somethin similar.. but today i was coming bak home and its 41 degrees here.. verry hot day. and when i turned on the AC it wasnt really giving cold air.. it was very warm.. and i tried all levels of fan speed but still gettin very warm air.. everythin was fine this morning.. and the other thing i noticed is that when i Press the AC button the RPM starts going up and down...

does anyone know about this??

thanks

the rpm thing is normal i take it you mean at idle. its because the ac puts extra load on the engine.

as for the warm air did it get cold after a few minutes?

No.. i kept it on for more than 20 mins and still warm..

i know that the RPM thing is normal.. but it goes like to 1100 and then back to 900 RPM.. isnt it too much?

well mine does that in the opposite conditions here in scotland with the ligjhts wipers and heaters on the revs rise and fall at idle.

as for the warm air thing it sounds to me like you might need new cold stuff in your fridge.

ya i think so too.. thanx anyways.. i'll check this today and see wut happens

Take it to Autostar. As for the idling thing, you're right, 900 - 1100 rpm is too much difference.

They'll sort it for ya :)
