I'm using H7 Phillips White Vision Ultra and H15 Osram Cool Blue Intense lights. I decided to buy those lights to change my front lights from yellow beam to white beam, without changing my bulbs to LEDs. However I'm quite unhappy with this combination because:

- using high beam - H7 white light, H15 only bigger coil lights with white beam
- using daylight - H7 is turned off, H15 only small coil lights with white beam

- using lower beam - H7 white light, H15 only small coil lights but with the YELLOW beam.

- using parking/side lights - H7 is turned off, H15 only small coil lights with the YELLOW beam - I don't use this option, so it is not important

 

This is the result of that H15 is used to 3 different lights:

- bigger 55W coil for high beam - it results in white beam

- smaller coil with 15W power for daylight - it also results with white beam

- smaller coil but power reduced to 5W for parking/side lights - it's color is yellow.

 

As far as I understand, lower beam uses H7 light bulbs and smaller H15 coil with 5W power to light the road, which results with dowdy white-yellow light combination. So here are my questions:
1. Is it possible to change in VCDS to allow computer to use daylights coil with 15W power instead of parking/side lights with 5W power together with H7 bulb when lower beam is chosen?

2. If points 1 is impossible, then Is it possible to change in VCDS the power of parking/side lights from 5W  to 15W, so they will be identical as daylights and my lower beam with always use white beams in H7 and H15?

I have found this solution, but will it work as I expect? Have someone tested it already?

Most later model Skoda's (MkIII Superb facelift, Kodiaq, Karoq, Kamiq, Scala etc.) no longer dim the DRL's when sidelights or dipped headlights are turned on, this is mainly due to increased use of LED's.

 

Using the changed coding above will still give you yellow dimmed DRL's performing the role of sidelights when your dipped headlights are on.

So this coding will affect only parking light selection right? Headlights will be still unaffected? Does someone know the coding to apply the changes also to headlights?
