Facelift monte carlo kit on pre facelift

Featured Replies

Hello guys,

I was wondering... I´ve got an 2015 MK3 fabia and I would like to buy the full facelift kit on it. But I much more enjoy the facelift one. Rear spoiler is the same, back difuzor should be also fine? The biggest issue I have... Can be facelift front lip(s) be fitted on my older Fabia? Does someone know? Or if someone have already have facelift monte carlo parts on pre facelift... Show me, how it looks, please. :)

Thanks!

Hi, iv just joined the forum today as iv purchased a 2015 mk3 fabia SE-L. Have you had any luck?

iv ordered the complete facelift kit hoping for the best. The front spats, sides & rear diffuser & top spoiler. Il let you know how i get on once it goes into the bodyshop.

Hi,

unfortunately the front lips of FL Fabia cannot be fitted on pre-facelift. Same with difuzor. I mean.. On hatchback, the difuzor cannot be fitted. The shape of the rear bumber is diffferent FL/Pre-FL. Combi has the same rear bumber, that can be fitted just fine. Spoiler, they are the same, thats fine. Sides also are the same.

Hi, is this confirmed? As in have you tried to fit the F/L front & rear parts?

I've had everything. Front left lip was okay-ish. The right one didnt fit at all. There was a huge gap. No way it could be fitted. Then I bough rear spoiler, that was just fine, because they are the same Facelift/prefacelift. Then I bought rear difuzor. But shape of the facelift rear bumper is absolutely diferent. So I've had to change the whole bumper for facelift one in order to fit facelift difuzor. But talking about Hatchback Fabia.

Difuzor when I was trying to fit it. You can see in the corner, that it did not fit around the "line" on the bumber. And the difuzor couldnt be lower.

Front lip, not my screen. You can see also in the corner. On the right side of the picture. There is about 1cm hole. Between bumper And the lip.

Hey thanks for the info. Damn, il have to ring up TPS tomorrow & see if i can get the rear & front parts changed Over to pre F/L. What a shame. Either that or i may end up buying the F/L rear bumper. Can you confirm if i fitted F/L rear bumper nothing else needs changing (bootlid etc).  Are all the F/L rear bumpers the same ? & Do the sides go on ok? I ordered the brackets for them too as a backup.

I much prefer the facelift front bumper spats. What other mods have you done? Iv also got a MC flat bottom steering & Iv bought 18” vega wheels. I plan to drop it on eibachs & fit the forge induction with celtic tuning remap. It has the sports seats & pan roof. Will post up pics soon. Thanks.

I think, that it is worth it to get F/L rear bumper. It looks so good on the car! At least in my opinion. :) You can change rear bumber without any problems. The attachement is absolutely the same. It is just about the different shape of the bumper itself.
Sides I have no idea. Did not try them. I dont like them so much. Also thinking about front Ingo Noak splitter. Check it out. It is something different and very nice!

So far, I have just the back. Facelift rear lights, bumper, difuzor. Front is still stock. Like the whole car. :D

Vega wheels are very nice! Also tried them. :) But I still prefer a little bit my silver Savio rims. :)

Planning on MC flat bottom steering, like you, also Eibachs and slam it a little bit to the ground. And the Ingo Noak splitter. Little bit tinted windows and I would be happy. :D Nothing crazy.

Looks like we have the same taste lol. I got really lucky with the steering. Managed to get it off a breaking car with Just 150 miles on the clock & it was mint. I had that along with the MC gear shifter & red stitch gaitor. Il check out the splitter you mentioned. Whats the difference on the F/L rear lights? Are they a straight fit? Do you have any pics?

This is the vehicle in its current state. Still at Henrys up in glasgow. Awaiting collection. Looking forward to The mods iv planned for it. You say you tried the vega wheels, how did you find the ride on the 18’s?

Oh, very lucky on that! I was also thinking about this steering but with blue stitching. :) Oh, you also have blue! Nice. :) I´m jealous about these seats!! I need them so much! They are amazing. But there are so rare in here. 😞
Rear lights? Full LED, much nicer, modern design of them. :) You need change pins in connector and do a little bit of PC coding.
Me personally dont drive 18". I just tried them on my car. Didnt drive them. But as I know, the ride is a little bit "lazier". But nothing too crazy. But if you are planning on ECU Tuning, should be fine then. :)

Nothing special on mine. :) Still work in progress. :)

Is that race blue?

lovely looking car. I really like the rear end with the F/L look. Yeah kinda got lucky with the seats, i didnt even know it had these seats, i had put a deposit down for it based on the mileage & price. It was just for a run about for the mrs but i decided to go all out & kit it up so i can occasionally use it. I see what you mean with the rear lights. Do you have part numbers for them? I would like to get a set ordered for mine too. They look well cool.

Yes, Race blue. :)
Many thanks! :) Yes, exactly. And in combination of prefacelift look, which I like more than facelift...
These seats are so comfortable! Awesome. You are very lucky. :D
I think that with some good looking modifies can this car look very good! Would like to see your progress on yours. ;)

Hatchback rear lights:

6V6 945 711
6V6 945 712

You also need new bulb holder thing (sorry, don´t know how to call it) into the lights. But it should be together with the purchase of the rear lights. I think.
6V6 945 231
6V6 945 232

But you need instructions how to replace it. You have to change some pins in the connector. And you need someone to change some things in car electronics over PC.
This all can be found on some german forum. I think. Didn´t see any english instructions on this. But maybe there will be some.

Thanks for the part numbers. Will look to order tomorrow. Appreciate it. Not sure why but how come the color on your car looks a lot darker than my race blue? Is yours metallic? Where abouts are you based? Theres a full set of red Stripe MC Sports seats On ebay. Iv got a friend who has a garage specialising in vag group cars, he does all mechanical & electrical work so getting the lights working isnt a prob & i can get him to code them in too if required. I will update on mods once i start. Thanks.

By the way how dis you fit the MC rear spoiler? Did you have to remove the existing small one first or does this bond over it?

  • Author

Absolutely over the small one. :)

Ok thanks

do you have the diagram for the wiring to adapt new lights? How to switch over the pins or point me in the right direction. Iv ordered all the parts today.

Hi Satyr!

Your car looks amazing with the rear spoiler and diffuser!

Do you know if theses parts will fit a Fabia III after facelift? (2019). Mine is 2021 (just before Fabia IV).

Thank you!
