Decided to wash wife’s car

Featured Replies

Decided to clean wife’s cars, 2005 vrs bought by us at 2 months old and in that time never been polished.

The car was a tip to the point I give up years ago looking after it, 2 young kids didn’t help either.

So with being on lock down got to work on it but got carried away.

Bought a polisher and a load of stuff.

Full wash down and decontamination done, including all door jams etc,

followed by clay bar work.

Next set to work with machine polisher and a all in one cut and polish, finished off with a hybrid ceramic wax coating.

Headlights sanded and buffed up, engine bay cleaned and front seats removed to make it easier to clean the inside after removing a bag full of rubbish

Am quite impressed how it’s turned out, a couple of minor dents and stone chips but over all looking a hell of a lot better, shame about the wheels and some rust bits.

I can tell you’re bored, must take immense patience to clean the engine bay 😂

Well done! I washed and valeted my wife's Citigo yesterday 😀

Looks as if he was so immersed in doing the engine bay, he didn't notice some had nicked one of his seats. 😜

Always wondered what Prince was on about, but in the first two pics I can see that Purple Rain really does happen in some places...

I've been a bit busy doing the inside of my recently salvaged Polo; front seats out is the only way to get the carpet looking decent.

It belonged to a smoker who wasn't too worried about where ash landed so it's been a bit of a mission. ☹️

Top job
