Rear storage compartment catch

Featured Replies

Anyone on here had the same issue as me ? Not long after I got the car ( less than 6 months) , the offside compartment catch flew off after opening , where it went I don’t know ( in a country park car park ) but I was stumped . Anyway I tried to get the lost part but without success , certainly didn’t want to buy a whole new compartment door  . I put up with wedging it shut with packers until a passing conversation with a mate telling me about his son’s new 3D printer he got for Christmas. To cut a long story short he took the catch off the near side door and copied it to great success , purchased spare spring off eBay and voila both doors close correctly once more . Not sure this is a common issue but now I have the answer 😀
