I want my car back. Boo Hoo

Featured Replies

Just left my motor in for a partial respray as it was keyed a while back.

Courtesy car is a 1.2 8v Fiat Punto (from what i can tell).

I've nearly crashed it twice already. First bacause the stupid 'city' function was on and i didnt realise it. As a consequence the steering was overlight to say the least.

Then i tried to turn right at traffic lights and was shocked to find that it has no power worth talking about at all. I mean you accelerate in any gear and it takes absolute age do anything. Even then it's pitiful.

God i miss my diesel but wont get it back until next Tuesday. Meanwhile i'm parkin up the Punto and using SWMBO's Multipla JTD (yes it has come to that) .

That city button is great fun, My brother is a fiat faithful and my favorite game when he had the punto was trying to press the button without him noticing whilst parking. Cue some sibling fights and a bit of effing and jeffing.

IIRC it disables >40 mph and doesnt come back on again till pressed :D

You're joking??!! And there was me thinking Fiat wanted the 1.2 8v Punto to be a performance car  Theyre great little cars imo :D
