Washer tank removal

Featured Replies

So after accessing my washer tank from the panel under the passenger spot light I've discovered the bottom of the tank is full of crud and gunge and blocking the pumps for the rear screen wash and the head lamp washers. Does anyone have a simple and handy removal guide for the tank as it needs to be cleaned out.

Can't say I have an easy guide, I'm sure somebody else will though.

If you have a pella or similar vacuum pump, it might be worth just pushing that to the bottom of the tank and emptying the tank and putting a small amount of water in then removing it repeatedly until nearly all the crud is gone.
