emergency braking with warning

Featured Replies

hello, i would like to activate emergency braking with warning flach on my skoda fabia 2017, is there someone who can help me, thanks

Well; I think you should find this is standard on all cars.

Take your car onto a quiet road...no traffic....check your mirrors....and then hit that brake pedel with all your mite!!  Tyres will squeal; the car dive....things may go all squirmy in the handling department.... and you will find that your emergency warning hazards will start flashing away quite merrily.

Check your mirrors....then pull away as per normal.  Actually, we should be doing this every week - improves our reactions - and you know how to handle your car is an emergency situation....plus it gives the brakes a ruddy good scrub (which they need).

This feature should already be standard on the MkIII Fabia, although it may vary by legislation in different countries.

I posted this video back in 2013 for the MkII Fabia...

During emergency braking the brakes lights flash, only when the car comes to a complete stop (or the airbags deploy) do the brake lights stop flashing and the hazard lights turn on automatically.

When setting off again the hazard lights turn off by themselves, or you can cancel them by pressing the hazard warning light button on the dash.

It might be that automatic braking isn't set to active for French vehicles destined for Corsica, to enable them you will need some software such as VCDS, OBDeleven or Carista.
