Clutches and LSD

Recommended Posts

Who has had a proper helical/mechanical LSD fitted?

Seems the options are quaife or Wavetrac, both fairly pricey.

Also, on a manual car, is the clutch a matter of when not if? I do want to map it, once the warranty runs out, but is a better clutch essential?

I've got a LSD fitted on my Ford, it makes the steering heavier but gives better grip around corners.

You'll only need a new clutch if you want to massively increase power - depends on how much more power than standard you're looking at.

I do want to map eventually but nothing mental. if I'm taking the box out it makes sense to do clutch and lsd at same time.

I've had lsd in my last 3 cars and i really miss it in this! front end is far too vague
