Hopefully that mock up shows conventional heating controls rather than a touch screen aka Octavia IV etc...

The Mk 4 will be launched on the 4th May. It will be good to see the actual car both inside and out.

Deliveries might well be the issue because of the Semiconductor / chip global shortage.

Skoda have suspended orders on some vehicles with order books that were open.

It would be good if they did produce right hand drive versions and not just left hand drive for Show cars and Media / Press cars for reviewers / journalists.

It is ridiculous with the likes of the Enyaq that journalists are going to Milton Keynes to drive left hand models.

If things are touch screen and less physical buttons it is good to know how they are placed for those that will be using fingers on their left hand.

Also good to know how the ergonomics are when the steering wheel and pedals are on the right hand side of a vehicle.

Few more details released

The new ŠKODA FABIA will be presented to the world in May. As the most recently published sketch of its exterior shows, the popular compact car’s overall looks are much more emotive, featuring ŠKODA’s typical crystalline design. The MQB-A0 platform the new FABIA is based on allows it to be 48 millimetres wider and 110 millimetres longer. Even so, the fourth-generation model clearly remains a compact car in appearance.

The FABIA’s expressive looks are enhanced by the traditional ŠKODA crystalline design. The key features are the combination of pronounced edges and generous volumes and the distinct contrast between the body’s sharp lines and convex surfaces. On the side of the door there is a line inspired by the Czech flag and its distinctive triangular section. The chiselled front headlights with LED technology are now complemented by two-part rear lights. The window silhouette is elegantly highlighted by a chrome outline; and the wide rear diffusor enhances the car’s sporty and dynamic appearance. On the new FABIA, customers will again be able to choose a combination of roof colours.

@Trev96   Any chance of a link, I can only find the mk3 brochure (this is mk4 section)

It looks like it is only the mk3 details. The brochure at the bottom quotes “UK 5/21” which I assumed to be the latest published one.

I wonder why Carwow still lists factory fitted options when they stopped mk3 production some time ago.
