Greetings Darren 👋

If it's a DSG, you should do some reading on the DQ200 box - plenty to read on here.

I very nearly bought a Black Edition with the 1.6TDI and thought it was a very refined car, and nice to drive.  Didn't buy it and bought the vRS instead, but only because the garage wouldn't budge on a whopping stone chip in the bonnet, otherwise I'd have had it.

Sounds okay to me. Without seeing car it is difficult to pass judgement. Looking through Autotrader, I always find looking at interiors of the car a indication of how well it’s been looked after. Quality of tyres is another.

If your happy with it, why not?

is it a late build mk2,

or an early days mk3?

my last of the mk2 1.6tdi's is running fine, have it just over a year now, and nothing is broken etc.

price on yours is about right, based off what i paid and the book value the time.
