Maxidot query on Fabia 3

Featured Replies

I realise this will seem like a silly/trivial query to many  Briskodians especially with coronavirus raging and killing people   but here goes. I did have the "miles travelled" up on the maxidot central display  and that was fine by me. It was useful. I didnt touch anything  anything but when I was out in the car today this had changed to " total journey time ". This isnt  as  much use to as the previous display that had been there for months.  Before I posted I went on the maxidot as I thought it would be easy to change it back but I have had no luck. I locked up the car      a couple of hours ago    and  I think that display will automatically be deleted after 2 hours if the car isnt started up again.  Is that correct?

I freely confess I am not particularly  great with computers. Having said that I can input TPMS and can get my readings on average fuel consumption and average speed and the next service due and my "green score"   but I cannot make this change and  that is peeving. If someone out there can give me a very clear "idiot guide" as to what I have to do I would be grateful. I didnt touch anything yet it changed and that really  puzzles me. I fully appreciate that this is small beer set against the pandemic and if I cant change it then its not life shattering. I would just try to ignore  it or maybe tape it over.  The car is running very well, this is no more than a nuisance but I dont like puzzles and mysterys.

          Thanks for reading.

To get to distacne travelled scroll through the maxidot menu using the scroll wheel on the right side of the steering wheel. Once you get to distance travelled press the wheel in to sellect between long term, since start and since refuel/short term. If you click the outer right button you can select between different data sources like music, warning etc. Distance travelled will be under driving data.

Hope that helps :).
