I'm in need for some buying advice
We are looking for a Skoda Octavia Scout 1.8 TSI ( 2009-2013 ) and wonder what to look out for and/or look extra closely for !?!?  🤔

Whilst I’ve no knowledge on the 1.8 tsi I’d check the tailgate around the recess for the number plate lights and boot opening press switch 

my 09 Octavia looks like this !

 

been to two local body shops both state only real remedy is a new tailgate both said they wouldn’t attempt to repair it doesn’t work any diy repair will just be a temporary cover up 

otherwise lovely cars well worth sourcing a good one
