Has 1.5 TSI engine now been fixed?

usually in short acceleration lambda 0.86 to 0.95 is used,

only when the engine torque/power is reaching(or is almost) to the driver pedal demand - then the lambda is going back to 1 - 1.05

(and maybe ~1.55 to max 3.0 when you light driving)

you can find more info in the SSP-253 --the TSI modes: homogen, homogen lean, stratified.

Update:

Hi, found that Kangaroo is related to the exhaust camshaft advance/retard when the engine is cold/when preheating the catalitic converter.

It is because the ea211evo does not have a physical EGR, everything was made with the inlet/exhaust valve overlap in order to decrease NOx.

So don't ask for the usual power remap (with the lambda and timing advance, like all do), ask instead for the exhaust camshaft tweak at low RPM and low driver demand (for less overlap with the inlet).

SSP-253 info there, you can also check by yourself with a tester.

Update:

Partially fixed, the kangaroo still exist but it is only in the first minute of the engine startup (there is a 20% gap in the gas pedal response), after the idle is dropping back to 700-800rpm the engine is working better.

i'm 99% sure that the kangaroo is from bad ECU maps engineering.

...And this is the prove...

& what happened was that the WLPT was coming, VW Group could not Fix / CHEAT / Manipulate testing as they had, the 1.5 TSI ACT,s could not get the scores on the doors that had before when being tested for the WLTP so VW Group manipulated the Engine Management / Mapping for the certification and any possible testing when the cars arrived in countries after being IMPORTED.  UK being one place where random checks were being done.

The Manipulated the cars to sit testing and stuff they might run like sh!te.  And many did.  The fix had to be as done and not require new testing.

No more Das Auto,  just supposedly honesty.   Kidology more like.

...........

There were / are Euro 6 1.2 TSI,s that are rough as boars sh!t sometimes on start up.

Skoda Dealership employees were schooled on explain to owners that Running like crap for a while is perfectly OK. They all do that, except those that do not.
