Evening all,

A few weeks ago I noticed my indicators flash on the off chance I was stood behind the car.

Thought not much of it.

then last week the alarm went off a couple times in short succession.

No alarms since.

Yesterday on sitting in the car, the central dash display indicated boot open, which it was not. This fault has been intermittent now.

 

This evening I was washing the car and I pressed in the location of the boot latch, the indicators flashed once, no alarms. The time was indicated on the central display between the speedo and tacho, once this display went to sleep, I could repeat it again.

 

Is there a known issue with the closed limit switch?

I noticed that with the hatch open, manually latching the boot does not change the boot open / closed indication. How does the car know the hatch is closed?

 

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
