No, not yet. Talked to the guys at Jabba and they said that my clutch would handle the new map once all the work had been completed.

Original map is 335lb of torque and the clutch is coping with this. So........

Will have one eventually though

Well' date=' its going to be there for a few weeks.......... upto 4 (miss it already)

Decided to take the opertunity of a bad situation and take advantage of a hybrid turbo :D (jabba recon that the turbo is salvageable for this) and have an intercooler fitted.

As jabba dont have one for the fabia yet their getting the manufacturers to design it to my car then they have a product at the end that they can offer.

Not cheap though, still Mike said once he's finished i'll forget whats happend, as my smile will be even bigger.:D

Hope you liked it Monkey Boy, not just tinted but armour glased as well :D[/quote']

I dont think you will regret letting Jabba get their hands on it, they have done loads of work on my 4x4 & I now have a 350 bhp very drivable car thats behaves faultlessly & Michaels right about the smile you will have

your right, its now in there capable hands.

Cant wait

Have the other tuner not offered to help put it right then?

Sorry to hear of your problems. :thumbdwn:

That's one of the gambles with remaps. If there is a problem, being non warranty can sting you hard if there is an issue. Hope you sort things ammicably. :)

So are we going to find out who these butchers were?

How's the rebuild comeing on?

I was told that if the Torque raises above 300lbs/ft the clutch begins to fail and severe wheelspinning can occur? (On a fwd car that is)

Done, has the car back for a week nearly.

Supose it depends how you use the clutch. I have no issues at the monemt and mines 361lbs/ft. :)

The car drives so well now, must thank Jabba for their work.

With all the work going on at Jabba they discovered that the car was spiking even on a standard map. So the firm who originaly mapped it only sped the inevitable up.

I have been i communications with this firm and feel that it is unfair to name and shame as the boost sensor valve thing was faulty and although the map wouldnt have helped with the amount of fuel being dumped, the map is not soley to blame.

Moral of the story. Generic maps are fine for a quick boost, but you'll never know if there is an issue unless you go the extra and have a custom map. This is not to discourage from gemeric maps, but just be aware........
