DSG shifter getting harder to shift

My 6 speed DSG somewhat requires more force to be moved from P to D, also from D to S and vice versa. It was not like that before but somehow became recently, like its not smooth as it used to be. Has anybody had similar experiences?

I am talking about just moving the gear stick action.
