Hello!

 

soo! My gearbox just broke today.. parked it at work, when I got out there was oil everywhere..  got it towed to the closest shop, they said the gearbox was spilt up the middle.. 

 

pretty good shot in the dark, but does anyone know where I can Get a new used one ? Cant seem to find a o2j EHA gearbox anywhere.. also cant seem to find out if there is another gearbox that is a snug fit.. 

 

im no mechanic, nor will I say that I have any real knowledge about cars in general.. tried reading through the forums, but didnt really feel like a found an answer.. 

 

the car is the fwd 1.8t 180hp 5 speed gearbox estate, if that matters  

Any breakers for the VRS, I think there are a few people breaking some on the MK1 Octavia VRS groups on FB.
