MP3 from SD Card

Featured Replies

Hi,

Has anyone had any issues playing mp3 files from their SD cards? I ripped the music files to mp3 format, formatted my 64GB sd card to exfat copied the files to the card. The music plays on my computer. I connect the card to the Kodiaq then try to select the card from media, then get the message no supported files. I then return the card to the PC and try to play them to test but they seem to have become corrupt. Has anyone else experienced this kind of issue?

Thanks

Isn't MP4 the preferred format nowadays?

I belive that reason is exfat, try to use fat. wasnt trying, but my cards are formatted to fat, and no problems whatsoever. As vell i understood that quantity of files is limited, but i’m not sure about that. And playing mostly flac format files, but as well mp3. So matter of testing...

I have all FLAC, but cards formatted to NTFS. But  this shouldn`t matter, exfat is supported by manual.

I tend to beieve you have to create some folder architecture to memory card (if you haven`t done it yet). There were some limitations about the number of folders and tracks.

Silver, MP4 is a video file container.
