Memory SD Navigator

Featured Replies

Hi,
I recently purchased my Skoda Octavia '17, the dealer did not provide me with the sd memory with the maps of the navigator.
Can I add maps to a non-skoda sd memory?

If Amundsen it needs to be Skoda SD card as this system reads directly from the memory card and checks hidden data on the card to ensure it's genuine.

If Colombus then you can use any SD card, as it's simply used to transfer update files from your PC to the Colombus hard drive.

To get the correct map files for your car you should go to the Skoda Portal and enter your VIN - it will tell you your Infotainment system type (Amundsen or Columbus) and show a link to the correct maps for you to download. There is a short video showing how to do the update.
