Comfort Module Coding help

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

Over the weekend I've tried to replace my midline/lowline 1K0 959 433 AK Comfort module with one a Highline one, 3C0959433AR. My Octy is the semi-poverty Ambiente spec, so I am upgrading mainly at the moment to get the addition menus in the maxidot EddieNL has retrofitted for me. But this will be the backbone for some more retrofits I could do, like front fogs etc etc. I'm using ODBeleven to change the coding of the modules.

I had fitted in the module after disconnecting the battery. Once connected, everything seems fine. It was only when I tried to sync the remote key back up that I had an issue. I tried using the Adaption method and the method mentioned in the manual, but both didn't sync my key. I also noticed, that despite coding the module to be a 4 door, it didn't lock the rear 2 doors or show them as being open on the maxidot. I tried a different coding for a 2006MY estate from a thread on here, but this produced a similar result. It may well be a coding issue, but do the module come in a 2 door and 4 door varieties, and have I unknowingly bought a 2 door module?

I also appreciate that this is something I may need to get VCDS for so there is that too. At the moment I've put the old module back in and everything is well. I also have a CECM and cruise stalk to do, but wanted to get one retrofit right first, before tackling anymore.

Can you confirm the new CCM module part number starts 3C0

If it is a 3C0 then you have bought a passat version.
